Sustainability Volunteer

I began my involvement by focusing on execution. Before you can lead an initiative, you must understand the operational realities of making it happen in the real world.

  • Actively supported the organization's initiatives aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Participated directly in fieldwork execution.
Dec 2025 – July 2026

Management Board Member

After nearly two years of fieldwork, I was elevated to the Management Board. The scope of my responsibility shifted from individual tasks to organizational architecture.

  • Collaborated as part of the management board to plan, schedule, and coordinate SDG-focused activities.
  • Managed communications and logistics for an 88-person student community.
  • Spearheaded the organization of fieldwork initiatives designed to generate practical, measurable environmental impact.

The Objective

Structuring Environmental Action

Good intentions are not enough to solve global challenges. During my tenure on the management board, I approached our environmental initiatives with an engineering mindset: focusing on systems, coordination, and measurable outputs.

Managing an 88-person student community requires rigorous planning. It involves aligning diverse schedules, defining clear operational goals, and ensuring that every volunteer's time is utilized effectively during our SDG-focused activities.

Our goal was never just to raise awareness. We organized concrete fieldwork initiatives tailored specifically to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. By shifting the focus toward practical environmental impact, we transformed passive concern into active, community-driven results.
